Dental Staff

Dr. McLean has a strong back-ground in science, having received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Long Island University and completing two years of graduate work towards a Masters Degree in Cell Biology at LIU.

Dr. McLean received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University, Washington DC in 1986 and completed a general practice residency at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, in the Bronx.

Over the years, Dr. McLean has completed, and continues, many continuing education courses in all aspects of Dentistry, keeping abreast of many of the new innovations.

Dr. McLean is committed to the pursuit of excellence in dentistry and our slogan, “Keep Your Smile,” is our goal in treating all our patients.

Dr. Etomi is our newest dentist. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, her Master's Degree in Oral Health Sciences, as well as her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University where she graduated magna cum laude. After graduation, Dr. Etomi went on to complete her general practice residency with New York Medical College. Dr. Etomi appreciates the union of function and form when it comes to delivering quality dentistry. She believes that the foundation of good health begins with the mouth and is committed to providing exceptional dental care to the community. 

Johanne Rosario is a highly trained Dental Hygienist licensed in the State of New York and a Dentist from the Dominican Republic that is experienced in all phases of dentistry. Johanne has a passionate commitment to first rate patient care.

She provides thorough cleaning of the teeth and gums and provides education with recommendations to patients to improve and maintain oral health. She charts conditions for diagnosis and treatment by the dentists.

Javiene Gordon is our dental assistant who makes the patient’s experience her number one priority. She works hard to ensure they feel comfortable in our office and enjoys assisting our patients in any way possible. She earned her dental assistant certification in 2019 and a degree in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management at Cambridge University in 2007. When she isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Ramona manages the day-to-day operations of the dental practice including training and providing support for the practice staff. She is skilled in providing patients reassurance and paying particular attention to everyone’s unique issues & concerns. Ramona is certified in conflict resolution Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI). Additionally, she is an ally to those in the LGBTI+ community. Ramona earned a BA in Social Work and worked as a social worker for over 20 years in the non-profit sector. She has also earned a certificate in Dental Assisting & Management.

As the  patients’ concierge at our practice she is skilled at making patients feel comfortable about visiting the dental practice  and understanding all aspects of their treatment and financial responsibility. Kristyna  has been instrumental in updating the practice  internet-based form of communication and streamlining our social media platforms, allowing users to have conversations with the practice staff and share information through our secure HIPAA compliant patient portal. In May 2022, Kristyna graduated from Russell Sage College with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She hopes to become a pediatric nurse practitioner in the future. 

Keila oversees that patients are scheduled appropriately and provide them with needed information to insure that their visit to the dental practice is a positive one.  Keila is knowledgeable with the various dental insurances and serves as the dental practice liaison between the insurance companies and the patient. Keila is reliable and goes above and beyond her duty to  advocate for all patients, who need appointments. Keila has been a certified dental assistant for the past 45 years, receiving her certification from NYU School of Dentistry.
